About the Qualifying:
If you have ever seen a normal qualifying you know that there are Q1-which lasts 20 minutes,Q2-which lasts 15 minutes, and Q3-which is the last one and lasts 10 minutes. In all of these three qualifyings every driver has to make a lap with which he can be sure to enter the next qualifying. After Q1 six cars have to leave the track, after Q2 six cars have to leave the track again and then there are just 10 cars in Q3. The driver who takes the fastest lap starts the race on the pole position, the driver with the second fastest time starts on position 2 and so on.
The qualifying is always on Saturday and this time Lewis Hamilton (driver of McLaren) took the pole position. After Sebastian Vettel and Mark Weber on positions 2 and 3 there were Raikkönen on P4, Grosjean on P5, Ricciardo on P6, Massa on P7, Alonso on P8,Button on P9 and Hülkenberg on P10. A big surprise was Nico Rosberg (who won the last GP in Silverstone last weekend), because he just reached P11 after a wrong team decision and couldn´t qualify for Q3.

The next day: The race
You must know that this Grand Prix was the home Grand Prix of Sebastian Vettel and he never won here before until Sunday. His start was one of the best starts, just Weber did a better one. Hence he and Weber (his team college) passed Lewis Hamilton, who had a quite bad start in the first turn already. More and more they increased the distance to their followers- Grosjean and Raikkönen- who also passed Hamilton. After 7 laps the session of pit stops started and in the group of the best ones Hamilton and Vettel opened this session. The mechanics did a great job, but at the next pit stop there was a big shock. Weber came to the Red Bull box to exchange his tires and one of the mechanics didn´t stabilizes the tire left behind. Nevertheless Weber drove away and his car lost the tire. There was also a cameraman in the box and he got the tire (which weighs ~15 kilograms) abruptly on his shoulder and on his back. Immediately this man came into the medical center and he is okay now. Another shock was a few laps afterwards. Jules Bianchi had to stop his car (Williams) on the grass, because it burned. After he left his car and went away it rolled on the track slowly and this caused a Safety-Car-Phase. Nearly everyone on the track got the box and exchanged his tires again. After this phase (which took ~7 laps) Sebastian Vettel had a tough fight with Grosjean and Raikkönen on the track. But the race showed a third Pit Stop in every team as well and in the end there was just a short distance (1.008) between Vettel and Raikkönen when they crossed the finish line. Vettel then send an optimistic radio message to his team in which he said thank you to all his mechanics and to the whole team. All in all this race was one of the most exciting ones, there were a lot of overtaking maneuver and some dangerous moments, but there wasn´t anybody hurt. We just can say: CONGRATULATIONS TO SEBASTIAN VETTEL-who won his home GP- AND TO HIS TEAM RED BULL.
