Hey guys! I'm sorry we weren't able to post our "Weekly Music Tip" last Sunday, but here we are again with a nice party song by Ariana Grande and Iggy Azalea which you will for sure hear on every party right now. Enjoy the last summer days :)
The last race was definitely one of the most exciting ones I´ve ever seen- There was so much action! Rain, Safety car phases, strategy problems and mistakes, crashes, overtake maneuvers and so on.. At the end the race was won by Ricciardo (Red Bull). 2nd was Alonso (Ferrari) and 3rd on the podium Lewis Hamilton (Mercedes).
Great race guys!
Race results: (the first 10)
This time the 2014 German Formula1 Grand Prix brought us a lot of thinks to talk about. First of all Hamilton had a highspeed crash in the qualifying and had to start on P20, but in the end he finished the race as 3rd. Rosberg won his home grand prix. But from the beginning- in the first curve Massa and Magnussen had a crash, but fortunately none of the two guys got injured! Over the distance of the race Kvyat´s Torro-Rosso began to burn, but fortunately again Daniil didn´t got hurt! A lot of action and a lot of position duels! Liked it! Next race on Sunday- Hungary!
Happy Birtday! It´s Laetitia´s birthday today- She´s 17 now!
On this special day, I wish you all the best and I hope you have a wonderful day! They say that you can count your true friends on one hand but not the candles on your birthday cake! We´ll see each other a little bit later! :)
A lot of Kisses, Yvonne
And now the weekly music tip connected with Laetitia´s birthday!
I couldn´t watch the 2014 Siverstone Formula 1 Grand Prix, but I checked the
results and now try to tell you a little things about them.
the pole ahead of Vettel and Button, thus the results of qualifying were a bit
wondering, because not only Ferrari but also Williams did not qualify
themselves for Q2, which was a bit of a shock for them.
was a really crazy British GP! In the first lap Raikönnen leaved the track,
came back with highspeed and hit Massa. It was a big crash and this caused a
RED FLAG- which means that the race stopped and about 45 minutes later they
had to start again. After 30 laps Rosberg (who leaded the race) had to retire,
because he had problems with the gearing mechanism. Hamilton won his Home Grand
Prix and was so happy! There were also a few overtaking maneuvers between
Alonso and Vettel, which was great; In the end Vettel saw the chequered flag
a bit earlier than Alonso!
been a fantastic race to watch!
Results of the race:
I am sorry for posting the Formula 1 report so late, but I really had a stressful week and now I´ve got the time..
I was at the 2014 Formula1 Austrian Grand Prix and it was one of the best week ends in my whole life- 100.000 people and a fabulous ambience!!
The qualifying and the race afforded a few surprises- Williams started on P1 and P2, but in the race the two Mercedes were best- Red Bull had problems again and Vettel had to retire, Ricciardo ended the race on P9.
All in all it was amazing to see all the racers and cars and team members face-to-face and hear the sound of the cars!
Still happy! :)
P.s.Here a few pictures, which I took:
reason that I am absolutely happy today, because I am going to watch the
Formula 1 race in Spielberg/ Austria, I wanted to present you a very good song!
Makes fantastic mood! I am looking forward to the weekend and for this I am posting
our Weekly Music tip today! Enjoy and I wish you a good week! :D
I'm so sorry, but I was a bit stressed so I had no time to do our Weekly Music Tip. This is why I wanted to present you a special song today. "War" by Edwin Starr. I listened to it in my brother's car and was fascinated from the very beginning. I just love it. Enjoy! :)
GP- one of the most exciting races this season until now!
fantastic race! This time there was everything in it- many overtake maneuvers,
problems with the brakes and tyres, flubbed pit stops, strategy mistakes and
crashes (blessedly without any person injured!)
all there was a bad start of Rosberg and a good one of Hamilton, who started
right behind him. But Rosberg defended his 1st place and Vettel
overtook Hamilton. In the first lap there was a crash between the two
Marussia´s and the safety car had to come out for nearly 7 laps. After the restart Hamilton got his 2nd
place back and tried to get as close as possible to Nico. Nearly everyone was
on a 2 pit stop strategy and after a few laps there were the first pit stops. In
the middle of the race the two Mercedes got a problem with their energy system
and as a result of that also problems with the brakes. Hamilton did not manage
to drive conscious and he had to retire. Ricciardo overtook Rosberg, who had to
drive a little bit slower and Vettel overtook Perez, who was in front of him.
Then Massa came with high speed and crashed into Perez. Fortunately nothing
really bad happened, but Vettel had a lot of luck that the two behind him did
not touched him. Ricciardo won his first race ahead of Rosberg and Vettel!
Congratulations to Red Bull, that they are back and won!
No, I didn't go mad, I just like classical music and because I think that we hear too little of these masterpeices I decided to post a a very famous part of Vivaldis "Four Seasons" today. Crank up the volume and immerse yourself into another world. Enjoy! :)
circuit with a lot of turns, low speed, few overtaking possibilities and a lot
tough qualifying on Saturday Rosberg this time had the pole ahead of Hamilton
and Ricciardo. Start was okay for all the pilots, but there was a crash and
safety car came out. After 5 laps there was the re-start, but Vettel had no
power, so he tried to do everything with the car, but something got broken, so
he had to retire in his 100th race.
suddenly got some dirt in one of his eyes, so the gap to Rosberg went bigger
and Ricciardo came closer. At the end Rosberg won the race ahead of Hamilton
and Ricciardo. In this race there were a lot of collisions and some troubles
and in the end just 14 cars of 22 saw the chequered flag!
This week-end Formula 1 was home in Barcelone/Spain. Hamilton had the pole ahead of Rosberg, as usually, an Ricciardo was on P3. Vettel just started from P15 after a non-driven Q3 and a punishment because of a gearbox change. Rosberg had a bad start , but after a while the two Mercedes pilots had a huge advance of about 20 seconds to Ricciardo and Bottas. Vettel changed his strategy meanwhile and was on P21.
- There were 2-3 pit stops from all drivers and in the end we could watch a few exciting duels between the two Ferraris, Vettel and Bottas, and Rosberg and Hamilton. Hamilton won, which means a 1-2 victory for Mercedes again but Congratulations to Red Bull, too!
As you maybe know, yesterday there was the EUROVISON SONG CONTEST IN COPENHAGEN- AUSTRIA WON!! But as I think that everyone will hear the Austrian song a lot of times from now, I decided to give you my favourite for the contest. FINNLAND, I really liked their song, enjoy!! :)
This time I´ve got a song for you, which is a bit older, from 2009. It´s called SURVIVOR- Destiny´s Child and this song makes me feel good and I can´t just sit down and listen, because my feet want to dance! Have fun with it! :)
This weekend Formula 1 was back in China-Shanghai: Hamilton again had the pole ahead of Ricciardo and Vettel. After the start in the first turn there were 2 collisions between Alonso/Massa and Rosberg/Bottas, but their cars weren´t hurt, so they could keep on driving. After a while there were the first pit stops and Vettel lost a position to Alonso, who came in one round before him. Rosberg had a few problems with the telemetry data, so he always had to radio his data of the fuel usage to the team. After 56 laps Hamilton saw the chequered flag as first and Rosberg and Alonso ended the race 18 sec behind him.
First of all I have to say that the Grand Prix yesterday was one of the most exciting races in the last years. Bahrain is a popular place when it comes to Formula 1 and this time it was a fantastic race! :)
Rosberg had the pole ahead of Hamilton and Magnussen. Similar to the last 2 races, Mercedes was the predominant team. But in contrast to the last two races, there was a big amount of overtaking maneuvers and team-internal battles. Furthermore Maldonado crashed into Gutierrez -->Saftey Car Phase. After that there was the re-start and it came to a lot of new battles. At the end Hamilton won ahead of Rosberg and Perez(Force India). Congratulations! And what a fantastic race! :)
Yesterday, there was the Grand Prix of Malaysia- Sepang. The qualifying on Saturday
already showed that the weather conditions in Sepang are very changing- first
there is heavy shower and an hour later the sun comes out, the temperatures are
nearly always around 33 degrees, which is very high and as you know in the car it is
much hotter than outside, so this means sweating. Hamilton again started from
the pole position as he did in Australian, followed by Vettel and Rosberg. At
the beginning and at the end there were a few overtake maneuvers, but in the
middle of the race everyone had to save their fuel, so there were no battles.
Hamilton won ahead of Rosberg and Vettel, so a 1- 2 victory for Mercedes!
Congratulations! We´re looking forward to next Sunday- Bahrain!
